To get a DVD onto Youtube doesn't take a vast set of technical skills. People probably have everything they need on their computer, except for piece of software that is simple to use and can solve practical problem.

In this guide, I’ll walk you through to learn how to rip DVD to Youtube video in flv file style, edit FLV video and then upload it to youtube.com. I’ve been using iOrgsoft DVD Ripper for Mac for a while, I find it is suitable in the example and decide to use it to explain the steps.

DVD is encrypted and can’t get the video out

Step 1 Download and install iOrgsoft DVD Ripper for Mac.
You are going to download a .Zip file. Unzip the file you will find DVD Ripper for Mac is capable of running on both PowerPC Mac and Intel Processor Mac If you work on Intel Mac, just choose DVDRipperForMacIntelTrial3.3.8.dmg, click on it to install it to your application folder.



Step 2 Load DVD info

Step 3 Select Title to rip and Trim the video

Select one video at one time to do the trimming
Drag the first slider to a position on the time line to set the starting time, drag the second slider to a position to set the ending time. Click Ok to commit.



Step 4 Convert DVD to FLV
Select (Flash Video). flv as the output format in the drop down menu next to 'Profile' filed on the bottom. Hit Convert, and wait for the conversion is complete.
