Step 1. Download and install iOrgsoft DVD Ripper for Mac.

Insert a DVD of your choice. If DVD Player opens, quit it. Run DVD Ripper for Mac.

Step 2. Load DVD info.

You can load DVD from DVD-Rom where you insert a DVD and wish to convert, or you can load IFO files from your computer hard drive, if the DVD files are already saved there. Hit Load DVD or Load IFO on the top left, a file window opens, and you can browse to your DVD.



Step 3. Setting

As I just mentioned, different screen sizes requires different video file sizes (resolution) to fit in.

Hit Setting…button on the bottom middle, a file window opens, navigate to the Video Setting and Audio Setting to set Resolution, Frame rate, Bitrate according to your need. You may notice that there are different values in the drop down menu for Resolution, there should be a size that can be exactly suitable for your player.



Step 4. Convert

Close the Picture Settings dialog and click Convert. Encoding time depends on the speed of your Mac, the length of the movie. DVD Ripper for Mac will display a progress bar, as shown below.
